Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 光電與通訊工程學系 === 101 === In this studies is mainly researching in the development of the novel mode stereoscopic display technology. With this idea, we develop circular polarization switching liquid crystal device, by improving its response time, to achieve full-pixel stereoscopic display without reducing resolution. There are two structures of LC device in the experiment. In the first structure of the device is treated by homogeneous LC alignment and with doping polymer RM257, by changing RM257 doping concentration, reducing the cell gap, changing the frequency of applying voltage, and taking over-driving to reduce the applying voltage and to speed up the response time. In the second structure of the device is treated by twist nematic (TN) alignment and with a quarter wave plate(QWP), by the optical rotation of TN structure and QWP to achieve the circular polarization switching. Furthermore, in order to eliminate the pick producing by back-flow effect and to accelerate the fall time, we replace 90° TN structure by 45° TN structure to achieve high-speed circular polarization switching.
