Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 101 === The purpose of the study were to understand the current status of elementary school resource room teachers’ teaching beliefs and teaching efficacy in Kaohsiung city,to explore the differences among teachers of different background on their teaching beliefs and efficacy,and also to explore the relationships between teaching beliefs and teaching efficacy.
There were 195 elementary resource room teachers in Kaohsiung
City surveyed by a “Questionnaire of teaching beliefs and teaching efficacy of elementary resource room teachers in Kaohsiung city.” The efficient examples were 185. The employed analysis methods were the descriptive statistics, T-test, one-way variance analysis, Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The conclusions are drawn as follows:
1. Teachers’ teaching beliefs would be more inclined to progressive, especially toward teacher-student relationship and student learns with evaluation.
2. Teachers’ teaching efficacy were on high-middle-level and then effective teaching strategies best.
3. The significant differences were found on teachers’ teaching beliefs by age, teaching experience.
4. Teachers’ teaching beliefs and teaching efficacy were positively correlated.
Finally, some suggestions were proposed for future studies by administration of education and resource room teachers.
