碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 應用數學系 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to confer the correlation between work stress and emotional management and to discuss the relationship between work stress and emotional management of junior high school teachers under different the variables, Questionnaire survey method was employed. “The questionnaire of work stress and emotional management of Pingtung junior high school teachers” was used as our research tool. The valid samples were 562. The data were analyzed by mean scores, standard deviation, t-test, One –Way ANOVA, Scheffe’s post-hoc test, and Pearson’s correlation. The conclusions of this study were listed as follows: 1. Teachers’ work stress was at a medium level. The results showed 　that the pressure from workload was the highest while that from the interpersonal relationship was the lowest. 2.In work pressure, there were significant differences among teachers with different genders, ages, years of teaching year, duty, teaching areas. 3.The emotional management that the teachers’ perceived was at a medium-high level. According to the results, the teachers scored the highest in the items of “emotional empathy” and the lowest in“the emotional expression.” 4.In emotional management, there were significant differences among teachers with different years of teaching and duty. 5.There was negative correlation between emotional management and teahcer’s work pressure.
