碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 資訊管理系所 === 101 === In the traditional business model, most enterprises took closed innovation strategy to gain competitive advantages. However, with the rapid changing environment, to shorten the time and process of research and development (R&;D) of companies, more and more enterprises take external knowledge sources and adopt open innovations to maintain their competitiveness. The business process outsourcing is commonly accepted by SMEs in Taiwan to reduce operation cost. In the outsourcing, the company should interact and cooperate with external partners. This interaction would also cause knowledge sharing and lead to open innovations. In this research, we study the impacts of business process outsourcing on knowledge sharing, and whether the knowledge sharing would cause organizational open innovations and performance. We developed a research model and both of quantitative and qualitative research designs were conducted. The research results show that the business process outsourcing can lead to knowledge sharing, and knowledge sharing could cause to open innovations adoption and organizational performance.
