Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 教育學系 === 101 === The researching period was from February 2013 to April 2013. To achieve the purpose, a quasi-experimental design was used and a purposive sampling procedure was employed to gather the research data. Two first grade classes of 27 students from an elementary school in Taichung were taken as samples. The teaching content was chosen from the second grade mathematics of the second semester in the 101 school year, the experimental group adopted the game-oriented math teaching model; the control group adopted the traditional math teaching model, total five units had been taught for ten weeks. All data was analyzed by SPSS12.0 The results of this research are: 1. The first grade students still keep high learning interesting in mathematics, the before and the after learning interesting of the experimental group is higher than the control group. The researcher found that keeping a high learning interesting will help students to learn. 2. As for the mathematical learning achievements, the academic achievement of the students from those two classes is brilliant. From the descriptive statistics point of view, all the grades of the experimental group are higher than the control group. It also means that the experimental result proves that using the game-oriented math teaching model is helpful to the students learning and can help the lower grade students to shape their mathematics concept.
