Disposable oral health products are pervasively used yet despicably and friendly to environment. 3.5 million sets of disposable oral health product is produced per year that result in 1575 tons carbon dioxide emission, Tourism Bureau, MOTC statistics said. Thus, enjoying the green leisure with caring oral health comes to a grave concern for a friendly earth. Oral health acts a good social function and the related product is considered a daily necessity. As more aging people and few young ones are getting intensified worldwidely, various oral health products are invented to meet the various needs, such as: toothbrushes, toothpicks, dental floss, interdentally brushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc. This study is conducted to establish a patent map of oral health products. The Import/Export statistics of Custom and those of the latest decade from Bureau of Foreign Trade have contributed most valuable sources as well. Besides, patent information has been searched from the patent institute in the United States, Japan, Europe and the Republic of China. The patent map may have a great help to those leisure companies to improve their oral health products with green concern. We expect this study may drive the attention of the oral health producers to green leisure properties, solidify the consensus of suppliers for providing travelers with functional products and further, encourage the behavior of saving energy and reducing carbon for a friendly environment.
