Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 應用數學系碩士班 === 102 === The purpose of the study aims to investigate the three eighth-grade students of mathematics underachievers whose learning process and learning effects after they accept the remedial instruction of arithmetic sequence and arithmetic series by using the specific patterns. By the teaching mode, it will enhance these students’ comprehension and concepts of arithmetic sequence and arithmetic series. We look forward to give the low-achieving students in mathematics substantial beneficial. It is hoped that the findings might offer insights into the teachers’ adoptions of teaching strategies, attempting to promote the effects of remedial instructions and improve their teaching skills. The mainly findings of the study are as follows: 1.The learning effects of the remedial instruction of arithmetic sequence and arithmetic Series by using the specific patterns: We compare the three students’ pre-test with their learning sheets and post-test, we can find that they have very significant progress. It shows that they have understood the concept of this unit. If they could improve their arithmetic computation, the learning outcomes should be better. 2.The learning process of the remedial instruction of arithmetic sequence and arithmetic series by using the specific patterns: It is observed the three students’ performance in remedial instruction class is better than before and they are more eager to answer questions. So they can comprehend the concept of this unit completely and get better grades in mathematics. Thus, using the specific patterns for remedial instruction is effective for enhancing students’ learning performances.
