The research sample includes 57 general third-grade students and 53 students with Learning Disability in the junior high; furthermore, the self-designed Visuo-spatial Working Memory, Mathematical Geometry Performance, Visuo-spatial Raven’s Standard Progressive Matrices Plus (SPM+) are used as the materials for the research tool. In addition, the result will be illustrated with Descriptive Statistics, one-way ANOVA, two way ANOVA, K. Pearson Product-moment Correlation, and Multiple Regression Analysis. With the analysis of the data, the main findings of this research are: 1. With regard to Visuo-spatial Working Memory, the general students are better than the ones with Learning disability; whereas there’s no apparent difference between the genders. 2. With regard to Spatial Ability, the general students are better than the ones with Learning disability; whereas there’s no apparent difference between the genders. 3. With regard to Mathematical Geometry Performance, the general students are better than the ones with Learning disability; whereas there’s no apparent difference between the genders. 4. With regard to Mathematical Geometry of four types of categories, the general students are better than the ones with Learning disability, Futhermore, the students with Learning Disability do better on the categories about circle than quadrilaterals. 5. With regard to Mathematical Geometry of four types of categories, boys do better than girls on the categories about guadrilaters;besides, girls do better on the categories about circle than guadrilaterals. 6. Visuo-spatial Working Memory and Spatial Ability have positive correlation with mathematical geometry performance. 7. In Multiple Regression Analysis, the forecasting toward Mathematical Geometry Performance of the data from Visuo-spatial Working Memory and Spatial Ability is obvious; the forecasting ability of the ones in Spatial Ability, nevertheless, is more effective. Proposals toward pedagogy and research are made in light of the above mentioned. none 楊憲明 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 97 zh-TW |
