Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 數位學習科技學系碩士班 === 101 === Department of Information and Learning Technology , Master Program of Technology Management National University of Tainan ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine problems confronted by the teachers and students in the use of interactive whiteboards through exploring student-teacher interactions and resolutions to such problems. The method of analysis conducted in this research is a qualitative one. By studying works and questionnaires of previous researchers, a modified observation form to monitor the application of the interactive whiteboard into kindergarten classes was fashioned. The researcher utilized stratified sampling strategy coined by Patton (2001) to study kindergarten students from a certain school in the city of Tainan. Junior level, middle level and senior level students as well as their corresponding teachers were monitored during the course of 4 weeks. 1.Using the interactive whiteboard to teach has positive effects on learners. 2.Multimedia materials such as songs and games are most effective in piquing student interest. 3. Familiarity with the operation of the interactive whiteboard affects the fluidity of the lesson and engagement of the students. 4. A teacher''s technological capacity has great bearing on the facility of interactive whiteboard equipment operations.
