In recent years, the globalized trade and economic environment makes competition increase. However, human resources are critical factors that enterprises rely on maintaining competitive advantage and enhancing competitiveness. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the maritime industry staff's satisfaction of motivation system and its impact on job satisfaction, job involvement, and job performance. This study discussed the relationships among motivation system, job satisfaction, job involvement, and job performance. Total 500 questionnaires were sent to the employees of organizations in Taiwanese maritime industry, including Shipping Carrier, Freight Forwarder, and Shipping Agent. 167 responses were received and 159 of them were valid. Therefore, usable response rate is 31.8%. The returned questionnaires were analyzed by means of descriptive statistic analysis, correlation analysis, variance analysis, and regression analysis. The results of this study showing that: 1. The employees’ satisfaction of motivation systems from maritime industry is quite low. " Workers compensation " is on top of all the levels in motivation systems satisfaction, and " salary return " is the lowest. 2. Motivation system has positive effects on job satisfaction, job involvement, and job performance; job satisfaction has positive effects on job involvement and job performance; and performance was effected positively by job involvement. 3. The intermediary effect of job involvement is significant on the influence of motivation systems versus job performance and the influence of job satisfaction versus job performance.
