Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 自然科學教育學系碩士班 === 101 === ABSTRACT
The purposes of this study were to investigate: 1. The effect of computer educational games on upper-grade elementary students' learning achievement on energy saving and carbon reduction (ESCR), 2. The effect of computer educational games which emphasizing environmental awareness (EA) on students’ learning achievement on ESCR, 3. The comparative effectiveness on learning achievement of two teaching approaches: with or without emphasizing EA, 4. The effect of computer educational games students' environmental attitude, 5. The effect of Computer educational games which emphasizing environmental awareness (EA) on students’ environmental attitude, and 6. The comparative effectiveness on students’ environmental attitude of two teaching approaches: with or without emphasizing EA.
The subjects of this study were 60 sixth graders, 30 of them were the experimental group and 30 of them were the control group. The experimental group students were taught with the digital games designed by the UeBond with environmental awareness and the control group students were taught with the digital games designed by the UeBond without environmental awareness and.
The researcher used t-test and one way ANOVA as the statistic methods in this study. The results of this study were:
1. Computer game learning improves students’ learning on ESCR significantly.
2. Computer game learning with EA improves students’ learning effect on ESCR significantly.
3. Students in the experimental group have a significantly better learning effect on ESCR than that of the control group.
4. Computer game learning on ESCR improves students’ environmental attitudes.
5. Computer game learning on ESCR with EA improves students’ environmental attitudes.
6. Students in the experimental group have a significantly growth on environmental attitudes than that of the control group.
