Both government agencies and private sectors have to stress their leisure spaces of the residents. This study aims to understand community residents of Lujhu Township involved in participating situation and environmental perception of leisure spaces in the district, and analyze the impact of different background variables. The study proceeds data collection by local field investigations, interviews and questionnaires. Community residents of Lujhu Township in accordance with local characteristics are devided into three districts, Shanjiau, Nankan and Dachu, for an obiect of research. Research tool is "The questionnaire of Lujhu Township involved in participating situation and environmental perception of leisure spaces in the district", a total of 410 valid samples. The descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA analysis, Pearson correlation analysis were used to analyze. The results are as follows: Community residents of Lujhu Township involved in participation frequency and overall satisfaction of leisure spaces in the district by "shopping leisure space" is the highest. Community residents of Shanjiau and Dachu in the participation frequency of "Township Office recommended choose leisure space " are significant. Community residents living over 40 years in participation frequency of "experience" and "Township Office recommended choose leisure space" are more frequent. Community residents living 21-40 years in the satisfaction of "low-carbon leisure space" are significant. "Warm relationship" is the most important in the factors of affecting the tradition environmental perception. "Original sense" is the most important in the factors of affecting the modern environmental perception. Students, workers and businessmen feel obvious in the perceptions of "comfort" and "regional imagery". Community residents of Dachu have special perception in the modern perception. Community residents living 21-40 years have more emphasis on the original atmosphere of the modern perception. "Leisure space participation frequency" and environmental perception have a significant positive correlation. "Leisure space satisfaction" and environmental perception have a significant high positive correlation, especially "low-carbon leisure space" and environmental perception have the highest correlation. Finally, based on the research results, the researcher makes several recommendations for community residents, community units, government agencies, dealers, educators and future researchers as a reference.
