Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育經營與管理學系 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to understand the circumstance between Organizational Commitment and School Effectiveness among elementay school in New Taipei City,analyze the correlation between Organizational Commitment and School Effectiveness and to find a predictable pattern between the two.This research was conducted base on 740 questionnaires returned.out of 900 questionnaires given to regular teachers of 68 public elementay school in New Taipei City. The data is analyzed by factor analysis,reliability analysis,t-test,one way ANOVA,Pearson’s product-moment correlation,posteriori comparisons by Scheffe’ method.stepwise multiple regression.The major findings of this research are as follows: 1. Organizational identity, effort commitment and retention commitment promise as an important indicator of organizational commitment. 2. The results of the study show the more positive Teaching Quality, the better Students’ Learning Performance and the more positive School Public Relations and School Administrative Performance, the better School Effectiveness. 3. The New Taipei city elementary school teachers have a middle-high degree sense of organizational commitment, including a major variable: organizational identity. 4. The New Taipei city elementary school teachers have a middle-high degree sense of school effectiveness, including a major variable: teacher teaching. 5. From teacher’s organizational commitment, there were no significant differences in terms of their gender,age, marriage,education degree and school area . 6. From school effectiveness, there were no significant differences in terms of their gender,age, marriage,education degree,teaching tenure, and school area . 7. The " organizational commitment "of the teachers who work in "less than 12 classes" school is better than those who work in "more than 76 classes" school. 8. The teachers with administrative positions have higher organizational commitment and school effectiveness 9. Primary school teachers with over 11-year seniority feel more about organizational commitment. 10. Teachers who were directors voluntarily participate,showed higher perception of organizational commitment. 11. Teachers at less than 12 class-sized schools show better perception of organizational commitment and school effectiveness. 12. The elementary school teachers in remote area are aware of better the quality of administration and teacher teaching than those in general area. 13.The New Taipei city elementary school teacher’s organizational commitment and school effectiveness are highly positively correlated. 14.The survey showed a predictive correlation between “Organizational Commitment and School Effectiveness” and the most predictive level “is Organizational identity”.
