Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 數位科技設計學系(含玩具與遊戲設計碩士班) === 101 === The goal of this study is to design a board game that takes place names in Taiwan as topic and combines the Augmented Reality application. The purpose is in making use of the high-interactive of the board game and the special of interactive mode between the virtuality and reality with Augmented Reality, and help player to know place names in Taiwan from the game process and bring learning interest through the mode of game-based learning. The Instructional content is the related introduction of 30 place names, which is used to be the main basis of the designing of game cards and the development of Augmented Reality. The game mechanism that carries on a game by matching cards is a modification from the Chinese chess mahjong, and integrate into the Augmented Reality technique that lets players can watch models above cards through smart phones and enhance impression and interest in place names with this. In order to understand whether this game can reach the above-mentioned effect, this study adopts a questionnaire method and starts experiment to 18~35-year-old students and worker through scale and test that make a data collection. The results show that the participant really promotes the understanding situation and learning interest to place names in Taiwan after playing the game designed by this study, and the game mechanism and Augmented Reality can promote learning interest ; the participant of different sex, level of education and status has significant difference for the learning interest and the degree for promoting cognizance to place names in Taiwan. The female is better than male, people from graduate school is better than from colleges and universities, and students is better than workers. Above results verify that this game can reach expectation effect, and it can be a kind of assistance tool that knows Taiwanese place name by means of playing the game, hoping that there will be more researches on the related development. Besides, if this game is commercialized in the future, people who is female, student and from graduate school will be a main generalize object.
