Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 資訊科學系碩士班 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the integration of information technology into reading activities. The influence of fourth-grade students’ reading attitude under using mobile devices to read electronic storybooks combines with note-taking strategy. The methodology of this study is Quasi-Experimental Research, takes two fourth-grade classes from a elementary in Taichung as sample. The subject of this study is about 63 people, one class with 32 people as the experimental group, other class with 31 people as the control group. Students from the experimental group use mobile devices to read electronic storybooks and also take note with electronic readers. Meanwhile, students from the control group read paper storybooks and take note with pen. The research tools of this study are reference to following questionnaire: “Reading Attitude Questionnaire”(2009) established by Sheng-Chia Wang, “Student reading attitude scale”(2007)established by Guo-Liang Lien, and according to the structure of PIRLS 2006 Reading environment assessment ”Student reading attitude questionnaire”. Ended up edited the questionnaire of this study. Implement the "Reading Attitude Questionnaire" to both groups of students as a pre-measurement before the research and after the research as an after-measurement. Then calculate and analyze the data to find out the influences on the two groups of students' reading attitude. The result showed that reading storybooks combine with note-taking strategy, which has a positive effect on the reading attitude of fourth-grade students. While with the experimental group reads electronic storybooks, the control group read the paper storybooks, we can found that the pre-test score is much higher than the post-test score in both these two groups. The conclusion of this research is that either paper reading or electronic devices reading are beneficial to the reading attitude of fourth-grade students. However, using mobile devices to read electronic storybooks combine with note-taking strategy has more positive influences on fourth grade students' reading attitude.
