Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 藝術與造形設計學系碩士班 === 101 === Due to the variety of the cartoon was applied to endorse and various commercial multiple presentation;this has been caused extensive and continuing visual influence to children in life, and also occupy the inner world of children and expand their imagination.By these commercial marketing and even educational application, cartoon has an important influence and power in children’s heart. (Woo&Hsiao,2012).This study discovers the association bwtween emotional needs of the elementary school students and cartoon head style’s elements by using Kansei engineering analysis to summarize the factors regarding the cartoon head styles on the students’Kansei vocabulary preference and objectionable as reference of the characters’ style design. It adopts the questionnaire and survey method in this study. The object in the study is the students from Grade 3 to 6 of the elementary schools in the greater Taipei Area. There are three stages in this study: firstly, to collect and gather the literature discussion, the samples of the cartoons’ character and Kansei words; and also to establish the category of the cartoon characters’ head styles. Secondly, through the questionnaire and survey of the Kansei Imagery of the cartoon characters’ head styles, it will explore the relationship bwtween the design elements of the characters’ head and the Kansei vocabulary. Lastly, it will constrcut a model to give the designer the ways through the results. The results are as following: 1.By the Expert-Group method, there were six items established, including the eyes, the nose, the mouth, the ears, the face and hair style for the elements of the head modeling of cartoon characters. 2.By the Factor Analysis method, there were six pair of relative Kansei words obtained; namely “clever-naughty”, “special-ordinary”, “positive-lazy”, “peace- savage”, “dream-true” . 3.By the objectively obtained modeling elements and relative Kansei words,it would establish the Regression Analysis model. And according to the prediction and the result of the survey, there was no significance between them by Paired-Samples T Test. Therefore, the establishment of this regression analysis model can predict the emotion and image of the cartoon characters’ head style among the students. This study expects to offer the more precise features for the teachers who design educational media or the designers who design the kids’ products to accurately grasp and combime the certain elements for the characters on kids’ preference in order to create the roles’ particular image and can achieve better teaching goals and better sale target. Meanwhile, the virtual spokesperson of character’s design can best meet the students’ real needs.
