It is a kind of text, and the representation of ideology and power relationship, too, therefore the novel analysis should be developed from ‘content analysis‘ into ‘discourse analysis’, could find witch kind of ideology and prejudice the discourse of the novel has, and how to put into social practice and social context. The research of critical discourse analysis focuses on the ethnic groups ideology in the first unit of novel of Seediq Bale, The purpose is to discuss if ethnic groups Ideology becomes a kind of elite discourse, and what kind of hidden suppose and ideology it has. The question of research includes:First, which are the discourse intension about ethnic groups ideology in the novel of Seediq Bale?Second, how was the discourse about of novel of Seediq Bale practiced?Third, which are the social contexts influencing discourse of the to ethnic groups ideology from? The comprehensive result of study has the following conclusions: 1. The relevant discourse of ethnic groups ideology of the novel of Seediq Bale has reflected potential conflict theory. 2. The novel of Seediq Bale is scribed by great achievements, positive, sacred narrative plot. 3. The teachers adopt the definite attitude to the novel text generally, and use its concept to teach auxiliary, but perhaps will not discover ideology or prejudice among them. 4. The teacher of history accepts the ethnic groups ideology in novel. 5. The discourse of ethnic groups ideology of the novel of seediq bale and its practice will receive the influence of context of politics, economy and education. They construct each other and become a relationship of ‘knowledge/power’.
