It is a kind of text, and the representation of ideology and power relationship, too, therefore the novel analysis should be developed from ‘content analysis‘ into ‘discourse analysis’, could find witch kind of ideology and prejudice the discourse of the novel has, and how to put into social practice and social context.
The research of critical discourse analysis focuses on the ethnic groups ideology in the first unit of novel of Seediq Bale, The purpose is to discuss if ethnic groups Ideology becomes a kind of elite discourse, and what kind of hidden suppose and ideology it has. The question of research includes：First, which are the discourse intension about ethnic groups ideology in the novel of Seediq Bale？Second, how was the discourse about of novel of Seediq Bale practiced？Third, which are the social contexts influencing discourse of the to ethnic groups ideology from？
The comprehensive result of study has the following conclusions：
