Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 公共與文化事務學系區域政策與發展研究碩士班 === 101 === The purpose of this thesis is to discuss the current status and relevance of the participation motivation and the organizational commitment from the members of the New Taipei City reservist counseling organization. The study is based on the empirical evidence gathered through questionnaire data and a total of 621 (95.5%) out of 650 questionnaires are returned as being valid.
To investigate the theory and research of the participation motivation and the organizational commitment, relevant research materials are firstly collected. Then, relevant theoretical framework and definitions of central concepts are discussed and used as a basis for the preparation of the questionnaire and for analysis of the results. Next, the collected questionnaire data are analyzed by using item analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient in SPSS. Finally, the results of this study can draw conclusions and make suggestions as a reference for each relevant department. From statistical analysis, there are five conclusions as follows,
1. In the aspect of the participation motivation, the order of recognition degree in the counseling organization members is interpersonal interaction, altruism, self-growth, value recognition, and egoism.
2. In the aspect of the organizational commitment, the order of recognition degree in the counseling organization members is effort aspiration, retention tendency, and organizational identification.
3.There are partially significant differences in the organizational commitment of the counseling organization members due to ages, marital statuses, family incomes, job’s post, years of service, and volunteer experiences.
4.There are partially significant differences in the participation motivation of the counseling organization members due to ages, marital statuses, educational backgrounds, job’s post, years of service, and volunteer experiences.
5.There is a significant positive correlation between the participation motivation and the organizational commitment.
