Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程學研究所 === 101 === The benefits of applying Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to construction industry have been studied and reported in the literature for many years. However, case studies on practical applications of BIM technology are still few. In this study, the implementation of BIM technology into a building project is used as a research target for studying coordination between the design company and construction company in the construction project. Observations and interviews on the project participants are conducted for understanding the coordinated procedures for design and construction with BIM, the organization and usage of existing systematic BIM tools, and the impacts and benefits of BIM implementation. The coordinated procedures are analyzed using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) approach. Finally, this study proposes a methodology for analyzing the impacts and benefits of BIM implementation in design and construction coordination.
