Sociologist Elizabeth Grosz (1952- ) also indicated, if the body is a social object, then the body can be redefined, it's form and function can be questioned and it's position in the culture can also be re-evaluated or changed. So we can understand the body as a subject showing stateful rheological properties. We can also find the body showing the complex significance at different times, in different environment and disciplines such as religion, psychology, sociology, biology or political science and etc. For me, my growth environment is the reason why I took my body as an object of the creation and study. The value system disorder in my growth environment has extended issues of self-doubt and self-identity. The process of creation is just like relieving anxiety. It is like Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) described the process of understanding "Self" to self-healing or Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) described "psychological defense mechanism"-to solve the conflict between "super-ego" and "id"-"sublimation" is the common means. The Birth of Tragedy wrote by Nietzsche (1844-1900) mentioned archetypal figures of Apollo and Dionysus that has affected many artistic point of view later. Therefore, I have started my study from ancient Greece to western art history includes the Egyptian pharaoh as "Portrait", Lacan's "Mirror Stage" talked about how people discover themselves, and finally used concept of "Formlessness" to analyze my works related to various concepts of "Portrait", "Mirror image" and "Formlessness".
