| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 書畫藝術學系造形藝術碩士班 === 101 === This thesis mainly analyzes the differences between the realm of vision, realistic scenery that one sees named “View”, and the realm of painting, the artistic works created by artists named “Image”. I shall use photos and tables to compare the differences, and will exemplify masterpieces of Chinese paintings to interpret the artistic conceptions. The same subject will be expressed entirely differently because of artists’ skills, emotions, and ideas, through which the same feelings will be shared by the viewers and artists.
The realm of vision “View” is the world seen by bare eyes, that is, the objective world with existing, realistic outlooks and objects that are seen, transmitted to brains, and displayed as images. The realm of painting “Image” is to paint the objects by artists’ senses, to rearrange the scenery, and to recreate subjectively with artists’ feelings and logical thinking to form new visual images.
This thesis on artistic creations includes 18 masterpieces of Chinese paintings and 25 pieces of my own creations, among which 20 are divided into the series of the Spirit of Trees and the series of the Dancing of Flowers.
