碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 戲劇學系 === 101 === Abstract For decades, the study of Kuan Han-ch’ing is always been school of leaning in the category of China classic literature, a lot of researcher following Kuan’s studies to publish number of articles, Guan is pivotal to effect classic literature of academia. Even though a number of researcher to study Kuan’s scholarly articles but rarely to see researching focus on theory of Metadramatic currently. Therefore, this thesis will study four drama scripts “West Sichuan Dream” “Butterfly Dream” “Snow in Midsummer” and “Lu Zhai Lang” of Guan to investigate social phenomena of Yuan Dynasty, moreover reference drama researcher Richard Hornby to verify for definition, function and relevance of social construction. Study focus on elements of Metadramatic about construction of ‘The Play within the Play’, ‘The Ceremony within the Play’, ‘Role Playing within the Role’ , ‘Literary and Real-Life Reference within the Play’ , and ‘Self-Reference’ to inspect characteristics of four drama texts for more details of analysis comparison. Last, theory will connect Kuan’s dramas and social phenomena of Yuan Dynasty to investigate characteristics of Meta theatre and fictional consciousness of Guan, to get to know the force how to support real social cultural construction then to understanding to thinking Han people how to living under Yuan Dynastic and their helpless.
