Such development results in the deep-rooted precious and complete LED supply chain in Taiwan. The strong growth of the LED industry is due to not only the early investors and companies, but also the “Green Energy Industry Project” funded by the government. The development of LED industry in Taiwan began in the 1970’s. In the past 30 years, the LED industry has transformed from unknown to the world’s largest LED producer in terms of volume and the second largest in terms of value. Under the keen competition and challenges from the developed countries and areas, the LED industry endeavors to persevere and becomes the leader in the world. This research applies the analytic hierarchy process to develop priority ranking of LED products for an upstream LED wafer manufacturer. First, the evaluation criteria are obtained through literature review and experts’ opinions. Based these criteria, survey questionnaire is developed and conducted. The survey results are analyzed to obtain the importance weights of the criteria and the priority ranking of LED products. The result and methodology of this research can serve as a good reference be provided to the LED wafers manufacturing houses (upstream) for reference when they are facing capacities reallocation or some kinds of problems. none 喻奉天 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 41 zh-TW |

The development of LED industry in Taiwan began in the 1970’s.
