Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 醫學工程研究所 === 101 === Healthcare has become an important issue in recent years, especially, the prevention of occupational illnesses. Both the Department of Health and the Labor Affairs Bureau have series of investigations of occupational illnesses. Because of the conversion of the industrial structure in Taiwan(less OEM, more service industries), the occupational illnesses of service industry are valued gradually. The most popular and ignored occupational illness of service industry is the wear and tear of muscle caused by long-time standing and the associated disease such as varicose veins, pregnancy influence, edema of lower limbs, pain of lower back. Although these illnesses would not cause fatal effects, they will influence the quality of daily life. In previous research, medical engineers paid lots of efforts on the conversion of the junction materials between shoes and feet. On the contrary, very few research made efforts in the geometric exterior of feet while bearing weight and the associated effects of long-time standing. The main objective of this study is discussing the influence of both 3-D exterior insoles and flat insoles(the two kinds of insoles are made of same material) while long-time standing. The study method is designed by considering the parameters used in previous study and the advanced equipment of our own laboratory. In this study, 11subjects are sampled, the average standing time of them is 6 hours per day. The T-test statistical method is used to compare the difference between the 3-D exterior insoles and flat insoles. The subjective parameter of this study is the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), and the objective parameters are the circumference of lower limbs and the plantar pressure before and after 8-hour standing. The results show that there are significant differences in both comfortable degree and fatigue degree, but not in the painful degree because there is only one subject feels plantar pain. About the objective parameters, the circumference of lower limbs has significant differences and the plantar pressure doesn’t contrarily.
