| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄大學 === 國際高階經營管理碩士在職專班(IEMBA) === 101 === Developing the innovative leisure farm has been one of the most important trends of agriculture transformation for Taiwan's outlying islands. In recent years, extensive discussion of leisure farm development has been made in the Kinmen island. However, limited attention has been paid to the feasibility and operational strategy of the organic healthy farm for this island. Consequently, the research thesis conducts a case study where Kinmen uniqueness, advantageous resources, local cultural characteristics, and development feasibility are analyzed by interviewing local agriculture and economic experts and governors. The main purpose of the research thesis is to explore the feasibility and operational strategy of the organic healthy leisure farm in Kinmen Island. Major findings indicate that (1) The unique resources of Kinmen Island can provide tourists different experiences which can further help increase the feasibility of organic leisure farm development. (2) Based on the special products of each countryside, the leisure farm can create its own value and operational strategy and maintain attraction of tourists’ willingness of visiting island. (3) Using effective promotion methods and channels to sell organic products are helpful for the operation of leisure farm and thereafter can increase profits.
