Since 1960s, with the Open Building Movement of John Habraken, an architect in Holland, who is announcement and guide the movement, it have changed subsequently the thought of architect all over the world whose are layout of architectural blue print. In spite of announcement of the architectural concept and knowledge on the Open building, it is not created originally. Before this concept, the conception of 〝Skin and Bone〞 comes from Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and then 〝The Module〞, 〝Domino System〞comes from Le Corbusier. However, as far as the thought of building layout and the arrangement for the second-hand housing is concerned, the method of Open Building prove great utility, and full of educational significance at the same time within the housing building. With the societal environment changes rapidly, the way of mankind thinking have been different from the past. As for those problems how built the overall building, and various crux which result from human thinking, it is not to be mentioned in the same breath. By the description above, this study will depend upon the concept of Open Building and the method of spatial arrangement as the basic foundation. Subsequently, it would be given several cases of spatial arrangements to express the practical method on the formation of spatial adaptability. From the Chapter three in this study, it employs the analytic techniques of Open Building to proceed post-occupancy equation of current status within the interior layout of the domestic public housing residence, in order to understand the interior spatial formative method, and those errors result from the spatial utility for the case on adaptability of occupants in the daily life. Moreover, this study will base on the data of domestic public housing residence after the analytic survey, and going further to analyse the spatial adaptability. Finally, the research will be sorted and summed the method of interior spatial arrangement and formation, and the influence of built environment for the behavior of occupant in the daily life. In sum, the method and the evaluation will be the keystone of the future for the interior arrangement and layout in the domestic congregate housing. It aims to built environment for the more comfortable, and more habitable.
