The adjustable output current of LED lamp is regulated by controlling the conducting angle of a TRIAC device of the proposed system. The proposed circuit consists of a TRAIC, a boost converter and flyback converter. The boost converter is adopted as power factor correction and is operated in boundary conduction mode (BCM). The peak current control mode of the boost converter is operated to meet the power factor requirement. The adjustable output current of flyback converter is determined by the conducting angle of the triac device.
