We expected to conduct an action research towards financial education by using picture books with financial management topics. The research study focused on the fourth-grade students of an elementary school in Yunlin County. From January, 2012 to June, 2012, we continued a financial management research by using children''s picture books with financial management content during the students'' recess time and integrated activities curriculum. We also designed a series of teaching plans for the implementation of teaching with financial management picture books, in order to promote the financial knowledge of elementary school students in fourth-grade. Through the teaching activities using financial management picture books, we completed the following research achievements: 1. By actual participating in the financial management activities, we may raise the students'' attention towards financial management topics. 2. The students may understand the importance of financial management, and therefore develop their cognition towards financial management concepts. 3. The students learned how to plan to use their allowance appropriately and cherish their belongings. 4.
