The research used 3-methacryloxy-propyl-trimethoxysilane (MPS) and Tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) to modify surface of nano titanium oxide . Prepared by mixing ABS resin/nano titanium oxide (include non-modify and modify) nano composites with different content when mixing weight percent of nano titanium oxide by mixing. After forming the different levels of weight percent of the ABS resin/nano titanium oxide morphology (FT-IR, Particle, XRD, FE-SEM, TEM, ESCA), physical properties (Density, Contact Angle , Void content), mechanical properties (Hardness, Flexural test, Tensile test, Impact strength, Wearing), thermal properties (TGA, MI, HDT, Vicat, DSC) for ABS resin properties and improve the degree of difference. Experimental results show, by FT-IR, the crystal structure of ABS / nano titanium oxide nano composites was determined; in particle size analysis show nano titanium oxide (include non-modify and modify) are both in nano specification; at XRD and ESCA test can see nano composites contains nano titanium oxide; Good dispersion can be seen in FE-SEM and TEM. Adding nano titanium oxide powder does effectively enhance in the physical properties test; In the mechanical properties test results showed that the tensile and flexural, hardness and wearing index decreased are effectively enhance, and impact decreased.
