Summary:碩士 === 實踐大學 === 時尚與媒體設計研究所碩士在職專班 === 101 === Under the impact of over consuming resources and rapid inflated material desire, people who live a busy and noisy life aspire to retuen to a plain living. Minimalism, a kind of art style, has been long around in western society. It is continually mentioned and used in all fields. Not only artists but designers try to release themselves from unnecessity and complication, seeking for the real value of human. I used to only appreciate something simple and graceful and experience merely lines, outlines, appearance visually without being aware of the spiritual power brought by vision. In recent years, I have been relaized the meaning of artwork and the beauty of it via learning. It is because that Minimalism is presented in a simple way, the essential cultural meaning and spirit are constantly neglected. Consequently, I hope to have a better understanding of Minimalism through the research. Additionally, with the change of thinking and , I’d like to creat and interpret the image of clothing. Instead of clothing vocabulary, The creation features visual performance , the use of simple elements, getting rid of extra cutting and seam , and being close to the material and essence so that it can simply show the creative thinking.
