碩士 === 東吳大學 === 中國文學系 === 101 === Wang Xian Qian’s Translation of The Complete Works of Xunzi is a significant writing in the academic community,which has collated the most important editions and scholars’ researches about Xunzi in the Ching. There are 8 chapters in my article:Chapter 1 is a prolegomenon. Chapter 2 is an introduction of Wang Xian Qian’s life. Chapter 3 is about the academic background. Chapter 4 is about the style of Translation of The Complete Works of Xunzi. Chapter 5 to 7 metions that the rite is the major cerebration and what we can to cultivate our moral characters and politics. Chapter 8 is a conclusion.Therefore, this article contains the style and the cerebration of Wang Xian Qian’s Translation of The Complete Works of Xunzi ,and debates the worth of the rite.
