碩士 === 東吳大學 === 音樂學系 === 101 === Bach's Chaconne for violin solo is a unique piece that includes various violin techniques and is filled with deep emotions from the beginning to the end. It is the longest piece of Bach's works for violin solos. The author of this paper tries to analyze the dynamics of Bach's violin music which espress his pessimistic Weltanschauung partly caused by his wife's unexpected demise. Especially the first four measures show how shocked he was about the loss of his beloved spouse. In composing Chaconne he used a series of choruses with a declining scale:D-C sharp-B flat-A off the baseline to express his low spirit and heheavy heart. To sum up, the study the way the author percieves the origin and motivation for composing the violin solo variation how her understanding of its historical and boigraphical background influences her interpretation thereof.
