| Summary: | 碩士 === 東吳大學 === 經濟學系 === 101 === This thesis selects 2009-2011 international tourist hotels in Taiwan , employs the two-stage data envelopment analysis to estimate the operating efficiency and market efficiency; In the first stage, this thesis focuses on the efficiency of the operation. Input items are the salary of the international class hotel, catering and repair costs, and output items are the floor rooms and catering area. While discussing the efficiency of the market in the second stage, input items (as intermediate products, i.e. the first stage of the output) are the floor rooms and catering area, and output items are the catering, rooms revenue and pre-tax gains and losses .
The empirical results show:
1. Most international tourist hotels performed better in operational efficiency, market efficiency is poor.
2. The district international tourist hotels performed better than metropolitan international tourist hotels in operational efficiency and market efficiency .
