| Summary: | 碩士 === 東吳大學 === 歷史學系 === 101 === Qian Bai Nian Yan（《千百年眼》）was a Note（筆記） written by Zhang Sui（張燧，born about 1580-1590, death unknown）. Zhang was graduated from Guozijian（國子監）in Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. Qian Bai Nian Yan was first published in 1614. It was composed of : stories, commentaries, studying experiences, textual researches and others. Qian Bai Nian Yan is also a Note with strong historical consciousness, which was expressed both in contents and in the bibliography.
Scholar Wang Zhong-Min（王重民，1903-1975） and Gu Jie-Gang（顧頡剛，1893-1980） gave a positive comment on Qian Bai Nian Yan. Scholar Qian Mao-Wei（錢茂偉）also made a good evaluation on the book recently.
This thesis would like to find out Zhang Sui’s concept of values from Qian Bai Nian Yan, in order to make sure the position of Zhang Sui in the context of late Ming Dynasty. This thesis also investigates the textual research in Qian Bai Nian Yan, and corrects its studies on the past.
