Moreover social support and reward fairness each play a negative moderating role on the relationship between role stress and emotional exhaustion. The study has implications for the military leaders and personnel department by offering evidence about the importance of managing controllers’ perceptions of the support from their family members, peers and supervisors and the reward justice.
