Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 電腦與通訊系碩士班 === 101 === IEEE 802.11g combines the advantages of IEEE 802.11a and IEEE 802.11b. The operating band of 802.11g is the 2.4 GHz. However, ZIGBEE system also utilizes this band. This thesis applies the beamforming algorithms of smart antenna system including the dominant DOA and the pseudoinverse DOA to the 802.11g system and evaluates the performance of 802.11g system under the co-channel interference of ZIGBEE. The simulation results show that when DOA based beamforming algorithms are applied to IEEE 802.11g, the BER will decrease. The DOA based beamforming algorithms can improve the fading phenomenon due to multipath transmission, increase the gain of signal, and suppress the co-channel interference between devices. Therefore, the smart antenna can boost the communication quality of IEEE 802.11g system
