Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 兒童與家庭服務系 === 101 === The aim of the study was to understand the current situation and relationship between sense of meaning in life and sense of well-being for elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City. The subjects were the total of 375 public elementary school teachers from Kaohsiung City in 101 Academic Year. Meaning of Life Scale and Teacher’s Well-Being Scale Questionnaires were compiled for data collection. Descriptive statistics, independent-Sample t- test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product moment correlation and multiple regression analysis were conducted for statistics analysis. The results are as follows: 1) The score for sense of meaning in life and sense of well-being for the subjects are above medium. 2) There is a significant difference among the subjects with different gender, educational background, and religious belief on sense of meaning in life. 3) There is a significant difference among the subjects with different educational background, marital status, and religious belief on sense of well-being. 4) There is a significant positive correlation between sense of meaning in life and sense of well-being of the subjects. 5) Sense of meaning in life of the subjects was a effective predictor for sense of well-being.
