Based on the ML estimation method, the symbol synchronization can be achieved without any other information by using the cyclic prefix in the multipath environment. In this thesis, we analyses the OFDM synchronization techniques, with the methods including the use of Symbol Timing Offset estimation(STO), ML estimation (Maximum Likelihood Estimation), Residual Carrier Frequency Offset tracking(RCFO tracking) , the Sampling Clock Offset estimation(SCO estimation), Interpolator, Joint Weighted Least Square(JWLS) and Phase Modification and so on. In addition, according to the characteristics of pilot, at the receiving end of the generator to give a pilot factor to do with the symbol is multiplied to obtain the phase error, and improve the sampling offset derivation and evaluation of mathematical formulas that can be reduced in such a way noise interference, as a result the tracking error of the sampling process more precise and accurate.
