Summary:碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 101 === Taking energy crisis and more-severe environmental pollution into consideration, all countries around the world actively invest human resources and capitals in developing renewable energy sources that can be used sustainably and cause no pollution. Among various renewable energy sources, wind energy and solar energy are the most commonly promoted and valued sources. This study uses microcontroller output PWM signal of Renesas SH7125 and adopts IGBT as the switch. Booster circuit and buck circuit are utilized to control output voltage and current of solar cell so that work point of solar cell can be maintained as maximum power point. In this study, we choose “perturbation and observation” from various MPPT rules to implement it in practice. We conduct maximum power point tracking by comparing perturbation work point with previous work point, so as to make the work point close to maximum power point to the greatest extent. Moreover, in this study, we use the same algorithm for both booster and buck modes, and thus investigate whether this algorithm is feasible in booster and buck modes.
