Going with the trend, this research proposes a mobile tour system that takes advantage of the strength of easy reading of QR Code, With the rapid information transferring capacity of QR Code and instant access to the Internet of a smart phone, tourists are able to arrange their own tours according to their personal interests. This research is centered with Changhua Confucius Temple. First, a website named The Mobile Tour System of Changhua Confucius Temple is set up to provide enriched tour information concerning Changhua Confucius Temple. Visitors can scan the QR Code with their smart phones to get connected to the Mobile Tour System of Changhua Confucius Temple, and they can start their exploring tour in the Confucius Temple immediately. The contents of all the information also come in the form of voice files so that visitors whose have smart phones with small screens are still able to enjoy the information as their tour guides. This research uses Google Sites, which provides free service, well developed cloud computing technology and ready-to-access convenience. This mobile tour system simplified the operational requirements. Web pages that are easily access with a smart phones allow visitors to plan and schedule their tours at their own paces, which truly helps the visitors to move in the way they like. Google Sites is a free service, and therefore this is no extra cost added to constructing this mobile tour system. Moreover, visitors with smart phones do not have to rent any tour equipment to use this tour system, which actually lower the costs of touring. Moreover, all the visitors have to do is scan the QR Code with their smart phones--they don't even have to type in the website address, and the information is instantly ready to be accessed. This can save a lot of time and trouble. Plus, all the tour information is stored on cloud end and it can be updated and the data bank can be expanded anytime and anywhere, which can promote administrative efficiency. Last, but not the least, the quantity of printing guiding booklets and be decreased and less personnel are needed to provide the tour-guiding service. The printing of QR Code is at very low cost but it saves a lot on personnel and printed matters.
