High-tech employees have faced great work stress under the industrial development. Leisure activities can reduce the pressure from workplace. The research aims to explore the work stress and leisure activities of high-tech employees, and discuss their correlation. This research was conducted by means of questionnaire survey. Research results were discussed by using descriptive statistics, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and correlation analysis methods from 228 valid collected questionnaires. Questionnaire survey was conducted in the research, targeting respondents working in the high-tech industry. The questionnaire design included three sections: work stress, leisure life and personal information. The research analysis reveals that 1) The main stress source of high-tech employees comes from workload, which is the pressure from their jobs. 2) The main leisure life of high-tech employees is spent on leisure activities with recreational features.
