Radio frequency identification (RFID) has acquired growing attention in recent years from engineers for communication application due to its capability of signal being received effectively in wireless bands anytime and anywhere. Additionally, the eminent properties of RFID, such as ease operation in bad circumstance and with low prices, have made it applied in the fields of engineering and logistics control. In this works, we utilized these prominent characteristics of RFID to combine a personal digital assistance (PDA) and the Microsoft SQL mobile server to implement a portable RFID-based KTV system.
