碩士 === 東海大學 === 美術學系 === 101 === Abstract This thesis majorly probes into the delicate relation among the creator, the nature, and the creator’s works while landscape paintings are chosen as a topical subject. I. In the article, not only the harmonious relation between human beings and the nature but also the issues of objective circumstances brought up by the landscape paintings are discussed. Through landscape paintings, the above mentioned are presented as an artistic creation. Further, it explores intellectual clarification and the deeper internal emotions such as, the connective relation between humans and the nature,the feeling of one self’s own existence with the outside world, the companionship between the creator and solitude….during the course of transformation and purification, I see myself, precipitate myself and, then gradually reach the tranquility. II. The western philosopher, Aristotle’s Kath arsis,in particular,is presented as I examine intellectual clarification and inside emotions while creating the landscape paintings. The inspiration comes from the theme. At the same time, the importance of the process of “clarification” is also addressed. III. The concepts and the two different applied skills between the western and Chinese landscaping paintings are compared and analyzed in order to search for the spirit of creating and the new presentation of painting skills. IV. The style of the series of “Solitude” is analyzed and concluded. By honestly expressing the innermost feelings and deep thoughts about life, the works are created. V.
