Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 教育研究所在職專班 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to discuss the relationship between the knowledge- sharing motivation and behaviors of elementary school teachers participating professional learning communities in Taichung City. The research was conducted by questionnaire survey. The researcher used 529 valid samples from 23 elementary schools in Taichung city. The instruments used in the study included the Elementary School Teachers’ Knowledge Sharing Motivation Scale, and the Elementary School Teachers’ Knowledge Sharing Behaviors Scale. The methods to analyze were descriptive statistics, Hotelling’s T² test, one-way MANOVA, one-way ANOVA, and canonical correlation by using SPSS. The findings were: 1.Elementary school teachers participating professional learning communities had better score of knowledge sharing motivation. 2.Elementary school teachers participating professional learning communities had medium-high score of knowledge sharing behaviors. 3.Task position, highest education, years of teaching and school size showed significant differences on part knowledge sharing motivation. 4.Gender, years of teaching and school size showed no significant differences on the knowledge sharing behaviors, but task position and highest education did had significant differences on the knowledge sharing behaviors. 5.The elementary school teachers’ knowledge sharing motivation and knowledge sharing behaviors between has two groups of canonical correlation. Finallly, the research proposed suggestions for education staff, administrators, and teachers. Further studies on professional learning communities also provided.
