Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 有機高分子研究所 === 101 === In this study, preparation and characterizations of composite materials, Polyamide 6/ graphite oxide and polyamide 6/ phosphorus-containing graphite oxide were investigated. At part I, There are two steps about the surface modification of graphite. In the begining, graphite oxide (GO) was synthesized by Hummer method; then, a Phosphorus -containing flame retardant was grafted on the surface of graphite oxide (GO) through the reaction of DOPO with epoxy group on the surface of GO to form DOPO-GO.Finally,they were analyzed by FT-IR, SEM, EDS. At part II, the GO with various ratios were added to ε-caprolactam during the synthetic process of PA 6 (Polyamide 6). Such PA 6/GO composites were prepared by purification and vacuum drying procedure. The PA 6/DOPO-GO composite were obtained by the same process as to fabricate PA 6/ GO composites. The thermal behaviors, mechanical and Functional properties were also investigated. ATR-FTIR analysis showed neither new group was made nor phenomenon of displacement was happened. The surface analysis was observed by SEM. The decomposition temperature and char yield of the PA6 composites were analyzed by TGA. The infrared thermal imager was used to measure the thermal conductive properties of composites. The result of limiting oxygen index (L.O.I),showed that 3 wt.% added DOPO-GO composite had the optimal flame retardant property.
