Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 教育政策與領導研究所碩士在職專班 === 101 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the current implementations of students’ learning satisfaction and career development cognition of the cooperative vocational technical education program of junior high school in New Taipei City and analyze the differences of students’ learning satisfaction and career development cognition with diverse backgrounds.
This study is focus on the students who take an elective of the cooperative vocational technical education program during the first grade of academic year 2011 in New Taipei City.880 copies of self-edited questionnaire “Survey of the junior high school students’ learning satisfaction and career development cognition of the cooperative vocational technical education program in New Taipei City” were sent, and 678 valid copies were collected, valid questionnaires ratio is 77%. The obtained responses were analyzed by using methods including descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Person’s Correlation, and Scheffe’smethod for posteriori comparison. The main findings were as follows:
1.Learning satisfaction of the students who take an elective of the cooperative vocational technical education program in New Taipei City is above the average level.
2.Vocational technical education program students from general area have better learning satisfaction than those from remote area.
3.Vocational technical education program students who were interested have better learning satisfaction than who just trying out of curiosity.
4.The level of vocational technical education program students’ career development cognition in New Taipei City was good.
5.The level of the career development cognition of students who were interested was better than who just trying out of curiosity.
6.There is a significant positive correlation between learning satisfaction and career development cognition of the Vocational technical education program students in New Taipei City.
Based on the study conclusions, suggestions will be provided to the educational institutes, junior high schools,vocational high schools, and future researchers based on the research conclusion to improve the situation of vocational technical education program in junior high schools.
