Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 歷史與地理學系碩士班 === 101 === The purposes of this study were as follows: 1. to understand the current situation of residential satisfaction and place identity of the inhabitants in Nankan Taoyuan; 2. to explore the discrepancy of residential satisfaction and place identity among various background of the inhabitants in Nankan Taoyuan; 3. to analyze correlation between residential satisfaction and place identity of the inhabitants in Nankan Taoyuan. This study was using a self-designed questionnaire about residential satisfaction and place identity of the inhabitants in Nankan Taoyuan to survey. Besides, descriptive statistics, t- test, one-way ANOVA , and Pearson product-moment correlation were utilized to analyze the data. The findings of this study were as the following: 1. The degrees of residential satisfaction of the inhabitants were above middle. 2. Residential satisfaction of the inhabitants in Nankan Taoyuan differed significantly with different education, family monthly income, residential area, residential ownership, residential size, and number of rooms, but it did not differ significantly with gender, age, marital status, occupation, number of family members, original place of residence, residential time, and residential type. 3. The degrees of place identity of the inhabitants in Nankan Taoyuan were above middle. 4. Place identity of the inhabitants in Nankan Taoyuan differed significantly with education, original place of residence, residential area, residential time, residential ownership, and number of rooms, but it did not differ significantly with gender, age, marital status, occupation, number of family members, family monthly income, residential type, and residential size. 5. Residential satisfaction of inhabitants was positively correlated with their place identity. Finally, according to the above conclusions, this study gives several suggestions in respect of the management in NanKan and subsequent studies in the future.
