Six hundred and ninety subjects were selected by stratified cluster sampling procedure from the fifth and sixth graders in Taipei city. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, three-factor multivariate ANOVA, canonical correlation analysis, and multiple regression. The conclusions were as followed: 1. The parent-child triangulation of the elementary school students was below the median level. 2. Depression tendency of the elementary school students was below average level. 3. “Only child” of elementary school students had significantly higher scores in “parentification” of parent-child triangulation than “not only child” of elementary school students; and “not live with parent ” of elementary school students had significantly higher scores in “stable parent-child coalition” of parent-child triangulation than “live with parent ” of elementary school students. 4. There were statistically significant interaction effects between “only child or not” and “live with parent or not” on “hopelessness” and“conduct-social problems”. “Live with parent or not” of elementary school students indicated significant differences on depression tendency. 5. There were significant canonical correlations among the types of parent-child triangulation and depression tendency of the elementary school students. 6. “Live with parent or not”, family projection-scapegoat, family projection-overprotect child and stable parent-child coalition were significant predictors for depression tendency of the elementary school students. According to the conclusions, several suggestions were provided for the parents, the schools, the counselors and future studies. 游錦雲 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 128 zh-TW
