Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 數位學習碩士學位學程 === 101 === In keeping with the times, the advance of technology has changed people's lives. Museums are also attempting to use new technology, such as interactive digital displays, augmented reality, and mobile guidance systems, to improve the museum visitor experience. The smart phone and application (apps) market has recently grown quickly. Consequently, more museums are developing their own mobile apps for museum guidance systems and are hoping to provide a good experience for users both in and outside museums. In this study, we use the following methods: literature review, content analysis, case studies, and questionnaire interviews. We analyze museum mobile guidance apps by describing the current condition of museum mobile guidance apps, and discussing the effects of using these apps on the museum experience. This study learned that museum guidance apps offer visitors collections, audio tours, and general visiting information. Visitors can also browse an extended content of artists and art terms, deepen and extend their museum experience, and are provided with a chance to obtain museum education. Finally, we provide suggestions for museum mobile-guide developers for creating better museum mobile guidance apps in the future.
