Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 應用物理暨化學系自然科學教學碩士班 === 101 === This study integrated the topic of green consumption into the design of the course curriculum, and the purpose of the study was to explore the influence for sixth-grade elementary school students in their knowledge of green consumption and their attitudes before and after the green consumption teaching. The study conducted “Pretest-Teaching Intervention-Posttest” as the research method, and used “Sixth-grade elementary school students’ green consumption knowledge and green consumption attitudes questionnaire” as the research tool for both pretest and posttest. The research objects of the study were 112 children from four classes of the sixth-grade students in one of the elementary school in Sinjhuang District, New Taipei City, and they were divided into two groups- experimental group and control group- each consisted of two classes. The study analyzed and discussed the data collected, and the results revealed: 1. Both experimental group and control group showed significant difference on the pretest and posttest in the overall “Green Consumption Knowledge”; the experimental group had better performance than the control group. In terms of sub items, the control group only reached outstanding difference in “Refuse” and “Recycle” while the experimental group achieved significant difference in all the five sub items. That was to say the green consumption teaching could advance the green consumption knowledge for sixth-grade elementary school students. 2. Both experimental group and control group showed significant difference on the pretest and posttest in the overall “Green Consumption Attitudes”; the experimental group had better performance than the control group. In terms of sub items, the control group only reached outstanding difference in “Basic Principles” and “Reduce” while the experimental group achieved significant difference in all the five sub items. It indicated the outstanding effects in conducting green consumption teaching compared with the traditional teaching with supplement materials, and it also improved sixth-grade elementary school students’ positive attitudes towards green consumption attitudes. 3. There was significant positive correlation between “Green Consumption Knowledge” and “Green Consumption Attitudes”, and it represented the more the green consumption knowledge was understood, the more positive green consumption attitudes were held. According to the conclusion of the study, it suggested: Educational administrative authority should provide more resources to support the teachers to undertake advanced studies in the related field to enrich their relevant professional knowledge. The study wishes teachers to adjust and integrate the teaching curriculum according to different students in different school grades and the current teaching status. Teachers should add relevant supplement into the course and extend learning activities in depth and in width in the consideration of the students as the learning subjects to advance their learning outcomes, equipped students with the abilities in independent thinking, integration and planning, and summarization.
